FMCSA Licensing and Insurance Register
The following requests for authority have been reviewed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (hereafter, the Administration) and are being published as preliminary grants. Some descriptions of requested service may have been modified to provide for consistency in authorities issued by the Administration. These grant decision notices do not
represent authority to operate.
Amendments to the applications are generally not permitted. Once the application has been filed, the applicant may revise a request for authority or supplement evidence only with the approval of the Administration.
Applicants will be sent a letter on the day when notice of their application appears in the FMCSA Register. This letter informs them of their docket number, their insurance and process agent filing requirements and deadlines, and the publication date in the Register.
Legally sufficient opposition in the form of verified statements must be filed within 10 days from date of publication.
In the absence of opposition, authorities will be issued to those applicants that, within 20 days from date of publication, have filed evidence of appropriate compliance.
Applications that are not supplemented with the required insurance and process agent filings by the 20th day following publication in the FMCSA Register will be dismissed. Dismissal notices will be issued to non-complying applicants on the 30th day after publication in the FMCSA Register.
Authorities will remain in full effect only as long as the applicant maintains appropriate compliance.
