WELCOME TO THE OP-2 REGISTRATION PROCESS

Welcome to the online site for registering with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Only NEW APPLICANTS can use this form. It is not for renewals. If you already have a USDOT number or an MX Number (docket number) you cannot use this form.

Bienvenidos a la página para registrarse en-línea de la Administración Federal de Seguridad de Autrotransportes (FMCSA por sus siglas en inglés). Esta forma la pueden usar solamente los NUEVOS SOLICITANTES. No la use para renovar su permiso. Usted no puede usar está forma si ya se le asignó un número del Departamento de Transporte de los EE.UU. (USDOT) o un número MX (número de caso).

FEES

Fees for registration are $300. Separate fees are required for each type of registration requested. If an applicant requests registration as a for-hire motor carrier and as a motor private carrier, multiple fees are required (i.e., $600).

COSTO DE TRAMITACIÓN

El costo de tramitación para registrarse es $300.00 dólares. Se requieren pagos de tramitación separados por cada tipo de registro que usted solicite. Si el solicitante solicita un registro para ser un autotransportista de servicio público y como autotransportista particular, se requieren dos pagos (en este caso $600.00 dólares).

PAYMENT
Payment is by credit card only (Master Card or Visa only). Pursuant to 49 CFR 360.3(c), Fees are not refundable. After the application or document has been accepted for filing by the FMCSA, the filing fee will not be refunded, regardless of whether the document is granted or approved, denied, rejected, dismissed or withdrawn."

Pagos

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Falsifying any information on the OP-2, BOC-3 or MCS-150 may constitute federal criminal violations punishable under 18 U.S.C. 1001 by imprisonment up to 5 years and fines up to $10,000 for each offense.
Additionally, these misstatements are punishable as perjury under 18 U.S.C. 1621, which provides for fines up to $2,000 or imprisonment up to 5 years for each offense.

DO NOT use your web browser buttons (Back, Forward, Refresh) while you enter data on any of these forms. You may complete the Form OP-2 in multiple sessions if you wish (you can stop in the middle of the form and return at a later time).
After you enter the first page successfully, you will be given a Tracking Number and a Tracking Identifier. In order to stop and re-enter more data later, you must know your tracking number and Tracking Identifier.
If this is a re-entry session, please enter your tracking number and Tracking Identifier in the fields that are provided, and press Continue.
If this is your first session press Continue.
